The pen is made from black precious resin with platinum plated trim. The pen has a synthetic blue sapphire gemstone on the clip and features the famous montblanc emblem at the top of the pen, below this on the clip ring it reads Germany and has the unique serial number. The pens cap is screw on and can be fitted to the opposite end when in use, the pen is a cartridge use only pen. The pen is fitted with a nifty retractable nib and the nib itself is made from 14K white gold and is a F= fine in size.
