It is presented in a uniquely small box that looks like the Sheaffer box that was devoted to higher end sets of the c. A bit tattered on the inside. There are several pairs of holes in the inside velvet base plate.

Not the type of holes that would have been for elastic loops tp hold a pen and pencil. Not sure what to make of that.. The gold samples are glued in place with either dhellac or other adhesive. There is quite a bit of solid 14kt gold in this presentation set.
