Vintage Sheaffer Imperial Sovereign Diamond Cut Fountain Pen, M 14K Nib, Box MINT. This is a rare Sheaffer Imperial Sovereign fountain pen cut in a diamond pattern with a 14K Gold Filled Casing, gold plated trim and a 14K gold nib. Dates from the 1980's. Comes with a perfect medium nib (probably uninked) and a perfect press bar filler. Superb condition and looks barely ever used!

Superb 14K Gold Filled body and cap in a diamond cut design are unmarked with no dings, scratches or wear apart from a pin prick ding on the base of the barrel. Stamped "Sheaffer USA 14K GF Casing" on the cap band with the crown emblem. All Gold trim is in perfect condition. Clip is properly aligned and a firm fit. The clip has a lovely clean white dot.

The section has a couple of fine surface marks caused by the cap. The nib is a medium 14K inlaid nib, stamped "Sheaffer 585 14K" and looks to be in perfect uninked condition. The pen uses either cartridges or a filler. A press bar type filler is included and is in perfect condition.

Not tested as I do not want to dirty it. It comes in a Sheaffer presentation box which is in near perfect condition with instruction leaflet.
