"Converter Special" filling system uses a special threaded converter that allows the pen to be filled like a standard piston fountain pen.

The use of standard cartridges is also possible. To use a standard cartridge, unscrew the front writing section, separating it from the pen body, remove the converter by turning it counterclockwise. Insert the standard ink cartridge by pressing into place.
