Aurora Optima 996 Cobalt Blue Fountain Pen 14K Gold M Nib New In Box. The new Auroloide version of the Optima has been designed using hand-finished trims and antique materials. The barrel and cap are made from marbled Auroloide with gold plated trims to accent the color of the fountain pen.

This pen comes with a solid gold nib and traditional piston refill mechanism and hidden reservoir. Model: Aurora Optima Auroloide Fountain Pen 996. Barrel and cap: The cap and barrel are made of blue marbled Auroloide, an antique material, yet refined and prestigious celluloid.

There is glossy black resin on both ends of the barrel and on the top of the cap. At the bottom of the barrel of the pen, just a small gold band separating the barrel from the very bottom. And it has a piston filler so you can see the viewing mechanism or the viewing window there in the center with two gold bands on each end. Nib: Nib is monotone 14k gold in Medium (M).

"14K" is inscribed in a circle, and "AURORA" is inscribed lower down on the nib. On the other side the feeder has'M' indicating a Medium tip. Cap: Blue marbled Auroloide with black resin at the top. "AURORA" inscribed in gold band with Greek key. The cap is threaded and unscrews, and it can be posted on the pen.

Special Features: Gold plated accents and trims. Condition: This pen is in excellent new vintage condition.
