Vintage Rotring 600 Fountain Pen BOXED B Nib 4th Gen Levenger Silver Hexagonal

  

Rotring 600 Fountain Pen in excellent used condition. This pen doesn't appear to have been used much - there are no dents, dings, or personalizations, and there are only a few light surface scratches.

You have to look hard for wear on this one - at first glance the pen looks relatively unused with its sharp corners and beautiful frosted finish. Pen comes in its original Rotring case and outer box, with some instructions, an original converter (installed already), and an blue ink cartridge which appears to be mostly dry. The outer box is pretty worn and one of the cardboard seams has broken and needs to be taped. The inner box is made in Holland and in excellent condition, like the pen. Outer box comes stickered with the original Rotring tag for a silver 600 with a broad nib!

This is a later model likely imported to the US by Levenger. As such, Levenger is printed on the side of the cap instead of Rotring 600, as is more common and found on earlier models.

I dip tested this pen and the steel nib is very nice - broad and smooth as you can see in the writing sample. This is an extremely fine example of an iconic pen.
