Arrives with hardware preinstalled and assembles in minutes. We have whelped puppies for years and have had a variety of whelping boxes but none of this quality. It has many convenient features that make whelping easier. It is easily stored and very convenient to move around. We use it for whelping and as a puppy showing box in and outside of our home.
